Here's the origin story: I didn't stumble into bookkeeping — real business experience shaped how I do it.

I got my accounting degree from Georgetown University (Go Hoyas) and cut my teeth in public accounting before becoming controller for a general contractor client — so I've sat on the inside of a business, not just audited it from the outside. That's a different kind of bookkeeping fluency.

20+ years ago, I decided to put that experience to work — building a bookkeeping and QuickBooks advisory firm while raising our two sons. It turns out, that's exactly the kind of business owner I'm best at helping: the ones juggling a lot, who need someone who actually gets it, not just someone who bills by the hour.
