Hi! I’m Alex, the freelance editor behind Alchemy Edit. I work with new and experienced indie authors, and I help polish manuscripts through developmental editing, line editing, and copyediting. I love collaborating with authors), so if you’re in the writing/publishing world, I’d love to connect.
How We Got Started
I’ve been a lifelong reader, and almost six years ago, that love of stories turned into Alchemy Edit. I answered a Facebook post from an author looking for a beta reader, things snowballed, and I quickly found myself working with authors nonstop. That experience led me back to school, where I earned my copyediting certificate from UC San Diego, and I’ve been editing professionally ever since.
