Our Bar A.T. Walley & Co. in downtown Auburn NY was the hottest place in the city. With the pandemic in 2020 we were down 50% in revenues. Our govt needs to start working together to get business back on its feet. Also the $15 minimum wage is not going to help this happen. It may be the impetus for businesses to stay closed or close in the near future. High school aged dishwashers or bussers that have no bills live home with the parents etc. do not need $15 an hour. This will be a detrimental domino effect, the employee that was paid $15 hourly will now be $18-$20 It will mean raising prices of meals and drinks in restaurants, or bread and milk in grocery stores just to pay for the wage increase. It just does not make sense!!!
