We are AAHAA Supportive Housing—short for Alcoholics and Addicts Helping Alcoholics and Addicts. Our name reflects the heart of our mission—our team is made up of individuals who have walked the path of recovery themselves. This lived experience allows us to offer genuine understanding and guidance to those we serve.
We are a supportive housing program that provides a safe and structured environment for individuals seeking to rebuild their lives. Guided by our core principle of “Compassion with Accountability,” we have been empowering clients to find their unique path to recovery since 2008.
Founded in 2008 by Mark Hampton, AAHAA Supportive Housing began with a single house and a shared vision: to support recovery through compassion, structure, and accountability. Built by people in recovery for people in recovery, we believe healing happens through honesty, integrity, and community. What started as one home has grown into 18 recovery houses across 7 cities in 2 counties in Washington state, reflecting the strength of our model and the commitment of those we serve. Many of our residents go on to become mentors and staff, proving that with the right support, lasting change is not only possible—it’s powerful.
