The Medical Examiner is Aiken-Augusta's only independent publication devoted to health and wellness. Published twice monthly since 2006, it is available online and on paper (delivered to more than 900 doctors offices, 14 area hospitals, and countless pharmacies, PT providers, nursing facilities and community locations).

I published "The Beeper," the campus newspaper of the Medical College of Georgia, for 16 years prior to launching the Medical Examiner. During that time, countless people asked me for contact information for the in-house papers of other area hospitals too. There were none. I realized there was a need for a community-wide medical/health/wellness publication.
