About Us
We are a home-based dog treat bakery and boutique specializing in fresh, minimal ingredient treats with no preservatives and offer a wide variety of pet boutique items including Pet-cessories and art as well as fun and functional pet related items.
How We Got Started
I began baking for my own dogs, and that has blossomed into a dream for everyone to be able to give their Dogs healthy treats made locally that are affordable and safe.
The boutique end began later with someone asking if we could make a bowtie and now we offer several handmade products, some of which are made from recycled materials.

My dogs are naughty and spoiled, but I have never had the pure joy that I have being with them at any job. I think every employer should create a pet friendly environment, much like many have onsite daycare they should have onsite doggy daycare :)

Well, that's a good question. I am a brand new home based dog treat business. I was considering doing a promo for a percentage off or a but 1 get one 50% off. I have just launched my website and need to draw more traffic there and thought maybe it would be a good way. Any thoughts?

First, thank you all for your fantastic advice. I am a brand new start up as well and I can't tell you how much I gain just from reading others posts.

In my case, I can relate the closest to never giving up, that we have to shake of the small stuff from David. I have been working for approx 2 years just to get where I am at in my start up. I have made plenty of mistakes and I haven't even gotten started completely. I have a family member building my website simply because she wants to help me become a success. It takes a great deal of resources to succeed and there is still no guarantee. I believe that if your not afraid to ask for help, you won't be near as afraid of failure. I have worked diligently with an Entrepreneur program and have an amazing Mentor on my team. It's been a long road with plenty of twists and turns but what I have learned most of all is that if you keep moving forward and you work hard that it does start to become a reality. If you don't let the moments break you, you get past them.
I personally am affiliated with like businesses as well as others. I am a Dog treat business and am directly connected with Colorado Puppy Rescue, a 401C3. They have given me the space to sell/advertise or provide samples etc at all of the events held at their location.

I donate a percentage of any sales directly back to the rescue and I am building a customer platform in the industry I will sell to. I have been able to do a lot of networking just from that also. They will be a link on my website & visa versa once I go live with my website. I do like the idea of a bartering system as well. Especially when your a new start up such as myself on a tight budget.
Honestly, I agree with each of you for different reasons. I also had a Dog many years ago that if I hadn't happened to come home at the right moment, would have choked herself. I pulled up as she was flipping herself off the deck because her tag got stuck.

I also am a lifelong Dog owner/Lover and I always have collars on them (all micro chipped) when outside for safety & identification. I believe for those who have had a real scare because of collars are more hesitant though. I totally get why.

I agree also. I do not shop organic for myself so I most likely would never with the dogs either. I make homemade treats as well as stew to add to the Dog's kibbles.
