Pay-for-performance schemes often combine a fixed base pay with a variable pay component that vary with the individual’s performance. For example the worker get's $15 an hour but, if the job is completed on or before time and meets quality standards, the worker gets $18 an hour. We also have a client that rewards employees who provide on time/quality work quarterly with extra PTO days. Hope this helps!

We encourage clients to make their policy clear in the employee handbook. You may hire someone who doesn't have a visible tattoo and then comes to work with a tattoo on Monday. Decide what is best for your work environment and clients and draw the lines. A couple of years ago the U.S. Army updated their Tattoo Policy the U.S. Air Force has a very similar policy which will be effective 2/1/2018, here is what parts of it says: tattoos are not to be extremist, indecent, sexist or racist. Tattoos should not be above the T-shirt neckline, on the head, face, wrists and hands. There will be an exception allowing one ring tattoo on each hand.

According to the Department of Labor, employees who voluntarily separate employment list lack of appreciation as on one the main reasons for leaving. When we make a conscious effort to be thankful to employees it strengthens relationships because we stop to see the good in people and situations instead of just focusing on mistakes that are made. In return we are creating a great atmosphere for everyone which results in effective productivity.

There are a lot of good questions to ask. One of the favorites I have that we always ask is ... " Why are you leaving your current employer?" You can often learn about someones values, goals, and direction in life with this question. (more) There are a lot of good questions to ask. One of the favorites I have that we always ask is ...
