Texas Tone Amplifiers are handmade guitar amps that are designed and built in Austin, Texas to the highest standards, for the discrimination guitarist who loves great tone and wants a distinctly different signature sound.
How We Got Started
Not being satisfied with commercially available tube amps, the only alternative was to design and build my own. I get rave reviews from guitarists who own and play Texas Tone Amps.

What's really happening on Main Street? Inflation is not down. The annual inflation rate for the trailing 12 months in April 2024 was 3.4%. The same metric was 1.3% in November 2020. Am I feeling the effects of inflation? Absolutely. A transformer that cost me $80 in 2020 is now $120, and a speaker that cost me $46 in April 2020 cost me $66 in March 2020. When energy costs rise, the cost of everything rises. As a result, I've had to raise my prices, too, just to maintain the same bottom line. The "Stock Market" is not way up, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is. Many major US stocks are down from 2020.
Our supply costs are way up, and I've had to raise my prices accordingly. Inflation isn't 'down' - a month to month decrease in the rate of inflation is still inflation.

On a scale of 1 to 10, my elected officials collectively get a 3. I am working with my city representatives on issues not related to my business, and they have been more responsive than I anticipated, so they get an 8 at this point.
Guitarists tend to buy amps because somebody said so. I'm trying to get the word out through trade shows, targeted social media ads, and demo videos. It's a tough road. Everybody wants brand x because that's what everyone else plays.

I recently got a great response from someone who knows: "It's the amp ______ [major brand] should be making." Getting that word out is the issue. I think 450 people saw it.
