Well I was asked to join a "Hillbilly Fashion Show" contest as they were starting the event. They wanted to see how flexible I was and how well I can think on my feet (as I was told later) This client was looking for a company that could think outside the box. Well I changed up my clothing the best I could - blackened out my teeth (not so politically correct but for the event I knew it would be ok) and took on the persona of "MaMa" (since all the other contestants were 20+ years younger than me) I won the contest..and impressed the client. I gave away all the prizes I won still while playing the role of "Mama", then spent the next hour getting the black off my teeth. Do you think we got the job?

I have a very different type of business that even though it is radio and charity events - since we primarily focus on bike events and rallys...boyfriends/significant others usually are the deciding factor in the lady having to step...

"Easier" I dont consider either easy. I believe having clients that show their trust in you and your product by staying with you. But keeping them takes time and attention. I also want to expand my business and I do that by looking for new clients that are looking for the business/client...

So its not how long they have been with you - its why they are with you or want to be with you.....
I try to shop small businesses anytime I can. I think supporting our businesses in our community or those family owned is very important. As a person that owns a LOCAL company - I fully understand the importance of community support. Using Local Bakeries - giving local and small businesses time...
