About Us

I love what I do for the past 20 years. I specialize pretty much in the S Hills of Pittsburgh and adjacent areas. I am truly a full time agent with extensive experience and knowledge about our local real estate market. I believe in client satisfaction and treating my clients as I would want to be treated myself, It has worked well in my career doing business this way.

Our office is fully equipped with an integrated network of computer and communication systems. We have instant access to the regional Multiple Listing Service, Public Record Searches, and many other tools and services that our clients need to better serve you.

How We Got Started

I graduated with a business degree that definitely helps me in many directions. I had my own business for years then took a very successful position with a dental company that put me in direct competition with my husband so I decided to go into real estate since I truly loved working with the consumers.

I believe that we can operate safely by asking all the right questions about exposure.  Only showing homes to buyers that are qualified, eliminating unnecessary showings to sellers by agents.  Masks should be worn by all parties at least until we know that deaths from Covid have ceased. In my experience, our inspectors have connected themselves to a WDIR.  We really don't select individually, when I have in the past, their schedules conflicted and the seller was put out twice instead of once.  My best advice is to market to the inspectors, as others have commented.  Our goal is... I tell the story about my very first client.  I was so excited to have my 1st client, I didn't ask them to get pre-approved.  They said they could afford up to $124,000.  We searched about 10-15 homes and found their dream at $122,000. Then they got the pre-approval, for $105,000.  Everyone seems to think this process is for the agents, it's not.  It was devastating to both of us that they couldn't get their dream.  Trying to compare that dream at $124K to a $105K home was very difficult, there is a huge difference in a home that is $17,000 less. Plus we both wasted so much time before the find and even more after the pre-approval.  If they won't get pre-approved after the 1st outing, I would think twice about continuing the relationship, 1. because it is a heartbreaking experience that I had, 2. sometimes there is a reason they know they can't get approved and 3. if they just want to see homes, open houses are a great opportunity for them to use their time not yours.

This one looks in pretty poor condition.  I would definitely recommend a roofer to take a look at this one.  They may actually recommend putting a pitch to the roof enabling a conventional shingled roof, less maintenance and much easier on resale.  Hope that helps.
