ABOUT NECIA
Necia is a lifelong resident of West Virginia, growing up in the Village of Barboursville and feels fortunate to have lived most of her life in the “Best Little Village in the State”. She has two grown daughters, one son-in-law and two loving grandchildren. She has been a member of Lewis Memorial Baptist Church for over 25 years and is also a very active & connected community volunteer with the Backpacks & Brown Bag Ministries. These ministries are very near and dear to Necia’s heart. She assists the Backpack Ministry to provide weekly backpacks filled with food to help with feeding underprivileged school children. With the Brown Bag Ministry, Necia distributes on a weekly basis bag lunches & toiletries to Huntington Area prostitutes to show them the love of Christ with the hope of a new direction besides the life on the streets of prostitution and drugs. From her selfless work with the Brown Bag Ministry, Necia is one of the three women that are the subjects of the 2018 Emmy Winning & Oscar Nominated Netflix documentary “Heroin(E)” which follows three women around the Huntington area who work with drug addicts to assist in getting them off the streets and drugs. In recognition of her community work, Necia was one of the 2018 Top 10 Finalists in the National Association of REALTORS® Good Neighbor Awards Honors.

Her guidance was what made this diagnosis not a disability but a learning difference. I highly recommend Kyra for her God given talent of giving hope, help and direction on how to learning differently. My daughter graduated high school with honor, and graduated college in 3 years instead of 4. There is no one like her in my local area, but that didn't matter she was able to help online. You will be so inspired by her knowledge and professionalism."

Have you tried going to a speech therapy school and giving flyers to them. Our church as a huge children’s ministry, maybe your church would be a good place to do a “Monday Music Moms”.  (more) Have you tried going to a speech therapy school and giving flyers to them.
