I think it’s important to support the local small business on the weekend rather than sitting inside and ordering on line . I remember when sandy hit we went from one end of the island to the other and bought our Christmas gifts at any shop that was open paying cash only . The gratitude was unbelievable and I will never forget it . A true Thanksgiving and one tradition  our family looks forward to . I agree about family , and lightening the work load , but why not go out as a group ? We did it that weekend and my kids still talk about it .
