About Us

For 17 years, The Hull Institute mission has been to help people overcome unhealthy behaviors and achieve happier, more balanced lives. We have two areas of expertise: unhealthy eating and unhealthy drug and alcohol use. The people who come to us are struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, obesity, drugs, alcohol, or any other addictive behavior.

We believe that the mental health and chemical dependency issues we treat are biological and genetic, brought out by environmental factors.

in 2020, we started 2 new businesses: Hull House recovery Residences in Akron is a non-profit recovery home for women with eating disorders and other addictions.
The Miller Center is a Division of The Hull Institute and is a generalist outpatient counseling practice in North East Ohio. We are currently searching for quality therapists. There are plenty of clients to go around.

We have offices in Beachwood, Fairlawn, Rocky River and Strongsville. We can fit you in for an evaluation within 72 hours.
