Restoration Services of Michigan (RSM) is a family owned small business. That is, owned and operated by Bill, Nanette & Shane (our son) McClellan.
At Restoration Services of Michigan, we know one thing

and where you create precious memories. So we
understand the stress that comes when an unfortunate
situation disrupts everything. RSM specializes in
recovery and restoration from fire and water damage in
addition to everyday cleaning, mold cleanup, hoarding cleanups, and
odor control. We carry the latest equipment and
products to fully restore your home to its original
condition, a sanctuary that’s safe for you and your
family to live in again. We bring compassion, expertise,
and understanding while offering a custom approach to
every job we’re on because we understand that no two
homes are the same.

We owned a Servpro franchise in Wayne County, Michigan. We loved helping our customers, believed in the services we offered, developed the expertise and invested in hundreds of thousands of dollars to insure we had the right equipment and technology to do our job right.
Our problem became the "corporate policies" so to speak. We believe that the customer comes first and they are not just a number or a dollar sign.
When it was time to renew our franchise agreement, emotionally we could not sign it. We signed a non-compete when we purchased it, so we had to move. We decided to move to where we loved - Bellaire, Michigan.
We sold our house in 1 day, for cash and occupancy upon closing.
So we packed up our home & a 5,000 sf building of equipment & rented any storage we could find here. Moved into a 1972 - 20 ft "hunting trailer" at Chain-O-Lakes campground. We found our home and signed the purchase agreement on a picnic table at the campground. Here we are and we love it!
