We joining the Greater Gaston Chamber because we're seeing them do a lot of events throughout the county. We've joining other organizations but found the best return on our time (remember time is money) volunteering and joining boards. But if you're a board member, you must know it's not about promoting your business. It has to be about the cause or project. Otherwise, people don't want to shop with you or invite you to be involved in other projects.
