Urban vintners Fred Dick and Robert Rawson got their start making wine in Rawson’s San Francisco garage. In 2016, the duo celebrated ten years of small-batch winemaking at Berkeley’s Urbano Cellars, known for its eclectic mix of Mediterranean-inspired wines and its popular blends in refillable one-liter bottles. Urbano sources its wine grapes from Northern California vineyards and transports them to the Fourth Street winery, where the grapes are crushed, de-stemmed, and fermented. Visit their friendly tasting room to sip wine, chat with the winemakers, and pick up refills of their table wines
