Lost Swordfish makes small product and service businesses easier to find and easier to buy from, and shows you the numbers.
Two things we do. For local businesses, we build fast, mobile-first WordPress sites and run the local search and seasonal email that turn them into a steady source of calls. For online stores, we run a growth engine: your own Google Search Console and traffic data decide what gets written and who gets emailed, every month, with a one-page report you can actually read.
Twenty years on ecommerce backends (Zen Cart, WooCommerce, MySQL), so the marketing side and the code side are the same person. Every site we run is watched by an automated monitor that files problems before you see them, and everything is reviewed by me before it ships.
Based in Bethel Park. Working with businesses across Pittsburgh and remotely nationwide.
I spent twenty years building and running ecommerce sites from the inside, most recently leading the platform migration and growth work for an industrial tool distributor with 160,000 products. Along the way I kept getting asked by friends who own small businesses to fix a website, sort out their search results, or set up email that actually goes out. Lost Swordfish is that work done properly: one person who understands both the marketing numbers and the code underneath them.
