I read it as more of a joke, not a real interaction between two people who know each other. I have a FB author's page and post only about writing--articles, book notices (mine and other people's), and the like. On my personal FB page I post about writing also, but add some personal things--my hobbies, odd discoveries, photos of things I like, such as a garden or a sculpture. I don't post things that are truly personal--I want to keep my private life out of FB as much as possible.

same. I love the memes. I've made a few, shared a lot more. I can't send sentimental stuff but always I can send or make up snarky ones. ESPECIALLY for writers such as me, and retired cops (IDK nurses and cops have the same sick sense of humor). The snarkier, the better. No foul language of course, but I get a lot of good belly laughs. GIFS that are similar, one author and I talk to each other only in GIFS... sometimes encouraging and sometimes insulting. Hysterical, imho.
