Mike was born in Columbus, Georgia, but grew up in Ft. Mitchell and Phenix City, Alabama. He is the youngest of 11 children, and credits his wealth of gifts and talents to the combination of all of his siblings.

Being from a large expanded and immediate family, Mike has experienced the loss of loved ones many times, including the loss of his Mother, Izola Edmonds James, and his Father, Prince James Jr. A vast majority of what he does, is to make his family proud and build a legacy for generations to come.

At an early age Mike discovered his love for people, being involved at church and school in various roles. He discovered that he is joyful when he helps people in any way.

Mike has served on various professional boards and community groups, and he wishes to continue sharing his light, love, and positivity to as many people as possible in the time and space that he has.
