Our name, Uriel, means “Flame of God” in Hebrew. In Bible lore, Uriel is the archangel who, wielding a flaming sword, is tasked with guarding the entrance to the Garden of Eden. We felt the name evoked something about the eternal as well as the need for inspiration in a person’s life.
