Maid VIP is a California domestic referral agency founded in Thousand Oaks in 2014. We interview, reference-check, background-screen, and insure independent cleaning professionals, then refer the right one to your home or office across Ventura and Los Angeles counties. Services placed through the agency include recurring house cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, luxury estate housekeeping, commercial and office cleaning, carpet, window, tile and grout, wood floor, gutter, and post-construction cleaning.
What sets Maid VIP apart is transparency. Prices are published by home size — our 2026 survey of 46 Los Angeles-area cleaning companies found only four that publish rates. Every referral runs through a four-stage vetting process and is backed by a written 24-hour re-clean policy, and our documented before-and-after work is public. Maid VIP was named Best Home Cleaning Service in Thousand Oaks, California for 2026 by Quality Business Awards.

Chris Szetela founded Maid VIP in 2014 after seeing the gap between large cleaning companies, where clients rarely knew who was coming, and independent cleaners, who had no one vetting or standing behind their work. The referral-agency model closes that gap: the client gets a screened, insured professional and a fixed quote; the professional gets steady, well-matched work; and Maid VIP stands behind the match.
