Heights House Hotel was born from the shared vision of two creative minds—Jivar Foty and George Giannukos—who saw potential in something most people had overlooked.
In 2020, Jivar and George came across an aging roadside motel in Houston’s historic Heights neighborhood. It was run-down, forgotten, and far from glamorous—but they saw something else entirely: opportunity, history, and soul. Where others saw vacancy, they saw a blank canvas.
With backgrounds in design, hospitality, and business, they set out to transform the space into something Houston didn’t have—a boutique hotel that felt like an experience. A place where retro charm met modern flair. A destination that was cool, creative, and community-focused.
