Being a commercial building cleaning company we are being asked to provide additional cleaning staff to our existing customer base in order to have more around the clock cleaning. Also, we have specific "DISINFECTING SERVICES" that are being offered to those who want the high touch points in common/public areas to be cleaned. We have had to hire upwards of 50 people in the last week to keep up with the demand. On the flip side, some buildings are being shut down and our existing staff of day and night cleaners will be left without jobs for the duration of this crisis unless we can place them in other locations. I commend all of our field service personnel that are willing to, protect themselves FIRST, and then continue to protect our customer's environments and their population's personal health by being in these corporate & public buildings, schools, medical offices, etc...and cleaning there spaces day in and day out. These amazing people who work mostly nights and often as second jobs usually don't get noticed too much and now they are being recognized as essential!

Not sure how long your company wants to wait to put a client into collections or what interest rate to charge per month, but I do know that if AR is not having luck, I would consider putting your sales rep (whoever sold the account) onto the client BEFORE you do anything too drastic. That is if...

Not sure how long your company wants to wait to put a client into collections or what interest rate to charge per month, but I do know that if AR is not having luck, I would consider putting your sales rep (whoever sold the account) onto the client BEFORE you do anything too drastic. That is if you want to maintain a future relationship with their business. Most sales people don't like to be put in that position, however, I welcome the opportunity to see if my contact with that person can help the situation. Often the sales rep is the one with the client-relationship so can assist with positive results.

We perform our own quality audits with our direct staff utilizing a inspection report that assigns points to our performance and is stored and tracked along with providing quarterly and/or monthly reviews with our operations management and clients (as required). Also, on-line surveys are...

We perform our own quality audits with our direct staff utilizing a inspection report that assigns points to our performance and is stored and tracked along with providing quarterly and/or monthly reviews with our operations management and clients (as required). Also, on-line surveys are available for our customers to utilize at their convenience. These surveys are immediately sent to management for review and follow up. Both methods allow us to track our progress and results. Employees are monitored by area managers & on site supervisors. We also have a monitor screen in our branch offices where the "health" of our clients (including cleaning quality, customer satisfaction level, etc.) is shown for viewing by anyone entering our offices. It is updated monthly at a minimum.

We are not a "grounds" company, although we do offer that as a limited service to our customers. Therefore, being a commercial building (indoor) janitorial service company, we do not really experience "seasonal" fluctuations.
