I think about 85% of my business has been by word of mouth so far. On line networking is tough when you are a new business. It has taken me almost 3 years to earn a profit!

To be patient. I wanted to be so busy that I would need to hire someone. I also bought advertising and did not see any sales from it. In a start-up, word of mouth is the best advertising.

My biggest challenge is that my business is looked upon with disdain and fear. Only those sportsmen and women who use firearms for hunting and various shooting sports look into my store. But, I also have clothing, shoes and boots.

My answer to this is No. By the time Starbucks does its market survey and demographics research, they pretty much know if a store is going to be successful.
So, going into this they already have a corporate backing that most other small businesses do not have at start-up.

The only answer is never. But, it happens. It teaches nothing about hard work and character. This totally robs a deserving student of the opportunity that should be afforded them by their hard work. And, also, what is in a name? Seems like everything!

When you are truly passionate about what you are selling or a service you are providing, the excitement should be seen in your voice. Know everything and be the author of your product inside and out and up and down!
