About Us

Mystery on Main Street (MoMS) is in business to keep your business in business.

Mystery on Main Street is creating a whole new method to bring interested customers into (Yep, inside!) your brick and mortar, pop-up or events business to browse, learn about, and shop your products and services.

The way it works is each “gameplay” uses “whodunit” storylines to takes players to local businesses they’ve chosen to receive clues and solve a mystery written by our locally based, award winning writers. Players visit your location with no need to ever interrupt your personnel or change your routine. Once inside, they walk the aisles or peruse your products and services to discover what you have, while seeking a strategically placed QR code that will unlock the next clue to the mystery. Players and participating merchants mutually gain with no membership or subscription required. The first player to solve the mystery receives a cash prize.

The cost to participate for an approximately four week gameplay is less than 1/3 of what a typical Facebook or Google ad will run you. Best of all, we're targeting people that are interested in what you have to offer. Our data not only provides pin-point shopper demographics, it also uncovers the all-important “silent shoppers” (the “just looking” crowd) so you can learn about the customer who is visiting your business, but not buying. Think of this as Groupon meets scavenger hunt and Pokémon Go.

MoMS is not a game app. MoMS is a technology based method promoting location awareness and shopper data. Demographic data for the most successful similar mobile game reveals the average player is a 26 y/o woman making US$90k per year, the best player is 70, and group players range in age from 16 to over 60. In other words, this is not a kid’s game.

I truly believe that.

Chuck, I had about 11 votes yet it's only indicating 1 now? Has there been an error? I moved my office from Lake Mary to Sanford, FL, about 3 weeks ago. Could this be it? In the past four years that I've been active on here, it has been the only site I can count on to reach my target audience - mom & pop retailers, merchants, eateries and the like. But it's not limited to just this business sector. There are businesses from just about every product and service industry you can think of.  This isn't LinkedIn, this isn't Facebook, this isn't all the other typical business oriented social media sites that focus on gaining users, as opposed to serving the users - as does Alignable. Alignable personnel actually interact with the members, whether you're a paying member or not. You can join Groups that cater specifically to your type of business and industry, as well as personal non-business related interests as well. Can't find one that suits your needs, create one! You can do that too. If you're a small business just starting up or maybe you've been in business a few years and need to learn from others that have "walked in your shoes" and understand your needs, join Alignable. It really, truly is worth your time. Now, how often can you say that?

Small business, the mom & pop merchants and eateries located in every town (over 2.1mil just in the US alone!) everywhere around the world, have products and services for every conceivable need and desire. Yes, it's up to local communities to recognize what they want, is probably just around the corner. But it's also up to local business to realize, no one is going to visit them just because they exist. Customers need to be brought it! 87% of the global populace prefers to personally buy (as opposed to just 13% on-line). 87%! Think about this. Now, take advantage of it!

Citizens have elected a president five times, yet, their vote was not counted. Secondly, government education should be a requirement for every grade in at least, high school. A lack thereof has been the downfall of every single society throughout history. All one has to do is look at the many States that are trying to prevent good government and prohibit history in schools throughout the US, and people are accepting it.
