I understand the negative and cynical responses and agree the immediate attempts to pitch services can be off-putting. I've learned that you get what you put into it. Alignable has been great for me. I've met all different kinds of knowledgeable small business owners and professionals locally and I have had the opportunity to work with many of them. The events are informative and I always make at least one good new connection. I find it much more useful than LinkedIn because my service is hyper-local. I suppose the usefulness of this platform depends on why you are here and the nature of your profession or service.

I have yet to find Alignable to be worth the $288 a year. Hopefully at some point it will pay for itself.  I've received better results of generating leads from a Chamber of Commerce Listing in the markets I serve. The ROI has just not been there.

My experience with Alignable has been limited, because the cost is unreasonable/not justified to access full services. Although I know that individuals have checked out my listing, I have never had any one request service on the basis of my profile so the sales/referral aspect has been useless. I did receive a call from a prospective employer.  When I applied for a position, the company only acknowledged receipt, but couldn't be bothered to follow up even though I appeared to be well-qualified. My experience has been lukewarm at best.

I have difficulty understanding the concept of Alignable.  First off, I don't offer a service.  I make art.  I draw and paint.  I do not offer a service.  I look and find some of the posts interesting but feel like it is just one artist telling another artist that they ARE an artist.  Hope this makes sense.  I didn't know how to answer your survey because I don't feel like the questions are related to me.  It's nice to know that this organization was founded by such an accomplished man.  Maybe Alignable is more for some type of people than others.  I keep looking to see what's up - even though I don't completely understand why.  Thanks for listening.

I am not a paid subscriber and after reading some of the comments, I wouldn’t want to be. Alignable seems more like work than networking. What is the point of writing a recommendation for someone who’s services you’ve never used and owners you have never met or conversed with

So much of online networking seems to be a quest for followers and recommendations, but not genuine, networking and service. As soon as I accept a new contact from alignable, I am immediately being asked to recommend them. How can I recommend them? The whole thing is fake.

Why is the marketplace only for people in the service business and not for merchants selling products like myself. It should be for both products and services like marketplace/shops kind of and shops for merchants to list their products with both marketplace and shops getting the same amount of visibility. I believe a lot of people here are also looking for quality products to buy from verified/premium members. Merchants can even do sponsored post on various parts of the Alignable website to gain my visibility, leads, sales etc.

I have yet to get one lead.  Have connected with some area business people.  Many do not seem to be aware of, or are not using the service.  Not enough effective activity to verify any cost at this time in a marketplace of fees required for all business 'help' services.
