There are too many ways to measure movement up or down and we can be going both ways at once, but  2019  was great because I'm still chasing the rabbit doing what I really want to do.  I turn eighty in a few days and to be totally involved at the highest level of the business you have been in all your life is, in itself a great thing.

It was a fascinating year of growth and expansion, both personally and organizationally. It has been a great journey to help people deal with chronic pain. One case in particular sticks out. I had a call last week just before Christmas from a Grandmother that hurt her back and was rating it at a 12 pain level on a scale of 1-10. We did three treatments in three days and brought her pain to a 1-2 by Christmas Eve. It was amazing to see her change so fast! I am excited for 2020.

My expectations for 2019 were met, as I did not expect to make any revenue throughout the year.  I am working on a new novel, which takes time to write, and am putting together my art portfolio, which also takes time to create.  Should I publish my book, and get enough paintings done, then  2020 will turn out for the better.

2019 exceeded my expectations although the bottom line may not show that. I gave myself permission to live the writer's life I'd always imagined and for that I am grateful.  This brought work my way that was more satisfying as it aligned with my intentions and values. Rather than scrambling for contracts and working to order, I created much of my own work by pitching writing assignments that interested me. I gave myself the gift of writing retreats and workshops to hone my craft and I'm seeing the results with every word I write. As the year draws to a close, I'm looking ahead to 2020 with a new contract that will push me to strengthen some of my existing skills and develop some new ones. I'm feeling hopeful and exhilarated, and wish everyone the same!

Even though I had no limitations, I underwent a kidney transplant due to the kindness of my daughter and an anonymous donor, now I am still working but much more selective of my clients.  I make sure they are ready to improve and invest in  themselves as I am still trying to make the world a better place one person at a time.

2019 was an amazing year for us. While revenue is a great gauge, we have been blessed with even more than that this year. We did see an increase in revenue as well as some great new clients this past year. We were nominated locally as best web page designer for the Best of Jax sponsored by Folio Weekly. We made the top 20 locally for out Jacksonville Business Journal and we are also nominated to be small business leader of the year for 2020 for the Jacksonville Regional Chamber or Commerce. Definitely a year of humbling recognition that affirm we are heading in the right direction going into the new year. We are looking for to an exciting 2020 with even more opportunities to help other small businesses and nonprofits design their brands online. Happy new year to all!

Boom Or Bust?  I'd say Busted but not Broken!

I have learned that I do not understand "marketing" and it's going to cost the life of my business. First I learned that sales and marketing are completely different, and secondly, I learned I have no skill in marketing. My goal for 2020 is to learn those skills without spending money I don't have, and start marketing with money I have reserved from 2 dry years of my new little clinic.  I learned that ads in newspapers get no response, news-articles are hard to get published, radio time is too expensive, and Facebook is confusing yet still a viable source. I did pay my dues with my local Chamber of Commerce, and tried joining a Bis-to Bis but will not be able to hold to their strict morning meetings. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'm GOING to make it happen this year, with at least 35% increase in clients.

2019 was our first year in business and we had people from Vietnam, France, China and from all around the US.  It was a great year for us and we expect to continue to thrill our customers in 2020.  Cheers!

This was my learning year. We are not where we had hoped to be but we are where we should be realistically. I’m encouraged and excited to take on 2020 and grow, grow, grow.
