Five Ways Members are Bolstering their Businesses & Fighting Back Against the Tariff Trouble

45% Say Networking Is Fueling Resilience

Those who took our short, 3-question Resilience Poll two weeks ago really paved the way for success amid a confusing time.

We were delighted -- but not surprised -- to see that nearly half (45%) of those who replied to the survey said their Alignable network has been opening doors for them, despite the economy.

So, we wanted to share that information with everyone here, along with the Top 5 actions people are taking to fight back against tariffs and uncertainty

This great graphic illustrates the best advice very clearly:

The Top 5 Ways Small Biz Owners Are Fighting Economic Challenges

While the poll revealed these actions -- two of which are in the networking arena -- networking to find more customers and securing new referral partners -- there were some extra steps some members and guests suggested, as well.

Those included:

  • Prioritizing customer retention
  • Cutting cost and reducing overhead
  • Expanding into new markets or services
  • Finding new suppliers or diversifying sourcing
  • Raising prices to protect margins
  • Delaying investments in the business, including hiring.

This poll is still open, so if you'd like to contribute to it, please go here.

And feel free to suggest other ways you've been able to work with (or around) the current economy to build up your network, connections, and business.

Of course, if you are thriving in this economy already, feel free to let everyone know your success secrets.

Thanks for reading and for participating in the poll.
