Amplify Bloomington
I lead Entrepreneurship Growth at Amplify Bloomington, a civic platform headquartered at The Mill in Bloomington, Indiana, backed by Indiana University, Cook Medical, and the City of Bloomington. Amplify isn't an agency or a single initiative. It's the connective tissue for the region's innovation economy: linking founders, researchers, employers, investors, and the creative community so good work here doesn't happen in silos.
My job is building the pathway founders need to go from idea to company, including Startup Summer for student founders and Crossroads, a pitch competition open to all stages. I came to this after 20+ years running operations, from bootstrapped startups to Fortune 50 companies. If you're building something in Bloomington, or you know someone who is, let's talk.
Amplify Bloomington grew out of The Mill, Bloomington's entrepreneurship and coworking hub, in 2017. In February 2026, it relaunched as Amplify, a broader platform built to connect the people and institutions shaping the region's future, so that Bloomington's strengths (IU talent, research, founders, employers, and culture) stop operating in isolation and start compounding.
I joined in May 2026 to lead the entrepreneurship side of that platform. My background is 20+ years as an operator, moving between chief-of-staff and operations roles at companies from scrappy startups to Fortune 50 giants. Here, that means building the programs, mentorship, and connections Bloomington founders need, and making sure the ones who succeed have a reason to stay.
