In order to justify any expense you need to have cash flow which comes from sales which is generated by marketing. So, I would spend on the ads. (more) In order to justify any expense you need to have cash flow which comes from sales which is generated by marketing. So, I would spend on the ads.

I treat a cold caller like any other person, with respect. If I am not interested I will tell them. (more) I treat a cold caller like any other person, with respect. If I am not interested I will tell them.

In my opinion, social media is good for B2C. B2B businesses uses it well for branding.  You can't beat a good referral from a happy client.  I believe that you need all of the tools to be successful. Social media, word of mouth, direct mail and direct sales. Best of luck with your business! (more) In my opinion, social media is good for B2C. Sometimes you can't take that call from a vendor, and that happens.  However, unfortunately, we live in a world today where some people feel it is acceptable to ignore others. Even if they know you. I feel that if you are doing business with a vendor then you should respond even if it is to say I'm not interested.  To ignore someone is de-humanizing. No one is that important. In regards to the question, I have, at times, sent an email questioning whether everything is ok with us and with them personally. You never know what is going on in someones life.  Sometimes going beyond the business relationship and showing the client that you care enough to ask about them will stimulate a response. I have had some success with this. Best of luck with your situation.

I had to read your question a couple of times to see if you really had the gall to ask "when is it ok to rob, cheat and steal".  If you don't know the answer to that question then there is no hope for you. You get back what you give and usually it comes back much worse.  You should re-think your "strategy" for success and not have success based on hurting others to achieve your selfish objectives.  I am speaking from a position of a person who has been robbed, cheated and stolen from.  So, sorry, if you get "offended" by this answer.  Treat people the way you would want to be treated.

After you pay your taxes and your vendors, rent and all other business related expenses, what do you have left over?  Can you put aside working capital and still have enough for yourself? If the answer is no, then you either need to get a 2nd job, if you want to keep the business going, or it's time to close up shop.

You get one chance at getting a sign right. Spend the money and hire a designer. If you're trusting the "free" opinion of people like us on Alignable then you will get what you paid for.  Sorry to be so harsh. (more) You get one chance at getting a sign right.
