Ryan specializes in the effective representation of buyers, sellers, and lenders in purchase, sale and refinance transactions. Ryan is an authorized Title Agent for several national title insurance companies and is authorized to cure defects in title as well as issue Title Insurance Policies to protect his clients.

Ryan's legal experience ranges from a solo-practitioner law firm to the General Counsel's Office of the Boston Public Health Commission (BPHC), the nation’s first Public Health Commission, where Ryan advised and defended the agency’s approximately 1,800 employees and litigated in Suffolk Superior Court. While at BPHC, Ryan wrote substantial portions of a successful and precedent-setting legal brief before Massachusetts Court of Appeals which is now settled law and case precedent for future litigants. Ryan is also a former small business owner and a current and licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Babson College and a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School.

Prior to joining Datz Law, Ryan ran a successful real estate law practice with Ligris + Associates for over seven years. Before joining the bar, Ryan worked in Global Marketing and Communications at Reebok International Ltd. World Headquarters where he helped oversee and create international marketing campaigns. He also interned with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Office of the State Auditor where he assisted in large educational audits of the Commonwealth’s public universities.

Using the unique skill sets he has obtained from these diverse industries, Ryan creates dynamic and efficient problem-solving solutions to more effectively advocate for the interests of his clients.
