Rising Up was founded by Leigh-Ann Larson, LMHC, a trauma therapist, grief educator, and entrepreneur with more than a decade of experience building successful mental health programs. After witnessing the growing need for accessible, high-quality trauma treatment, she created Rising Up to bridge the gap between traditional outpatient therapy and inpatient care. The vision was to offer a compassionate, trauma-informed program where adults could receive intensive support while remaining connected to their families, careers, and communities. Today, Rising Up serves adults across Massachusetts through a fully licensed and Joint Commission-accredited virtual Intensive Outpatient Program dedicated to healing, resilience, and hope.
