Everyone wants to be ranked high Google but it is a junk search engine. Their GMB listings are nothing more than dumpster fires right now where joe blow can come along, suggest an edit, and G will put it through without contacting the business owner. You login to find your listing saying...

Everyone wants to be ranked high Google but it is a junk search engine. Their GMB listings are nothing more than dumpster fires right now where joe blow can come along, suggest an edit, and G will put it through without contacting the business owner. You login to find your listing saying business is closed. Click the link to reopen and it comes back suspended.
Also notice a lot of lead gen sites of fake businesses and ghost GMBs with fake reviews.
Their search results cater ONLY to those spending money on Google ads. You can lose the skin off of your teeth paying for bot hit clicks, tire kickers, and time wasters.
G is in court 8 days/week getting sued by individuals, companies, and whole nations. Any other business sued that much would have been shut down and investigated.
Many are fed up with G and are using other engines such as Bing, Duck Duck Go, and others.
