She presents "My method and mindset to not just prevent cancer or survive cancer, but to kill it!" at universities, colleges, health care facilities, hospitals and health and wellness seminars. Melissa teaches people what they need to know and then they can choose to change their lifestyle or not.
I was Just Overly Burnt Out. For over 25 years I worked 65 + hours per week, and traveled nationally and internationally Monday to Friday 75% to 95% of the time. Throughout these years, I was not present for myself or my family. I missed school activities, recognition assemblies, parent teacher conferences, my son’s hockey games, family wedding, birthday, engagement, and anniversary parties, professional sporting events and family vacations. I missed my daughter's 8th grade graduation because my flight was canceled. I almost missed my son's high school graduation because my flight was canceled. I slept at the airport and got on a flight that flew to Providence, RI. My luggage was lost. I rented a car and drove straight to the High School graduation in South Windsor, CT. I was in the same clothes and had not brushed my hair or teeth. I missed our move back to NJ in October of 2015 because my flight was canceled. At times my family lived in one state and I lived in another state.
