I got into real estate after experiencing very poor service during the purchase of our first house and again when we sold that house and bought our second. Having been very involved in the second purchase I found I understood the process very well and knew I could provide better customer service. That got me started on my path of being a realtor. Once I got my license I thoroughly enjoyed helping others with the buying an selling of their homes.
