We are a Family Owned Hospice founded by a Hospice Nurse and DON Jane Porter RN. with the Support of her husband and family. She has a passion to educate people about Hospice before they ever need us.

Jane Porter was working as an RN/DON for different hospices. She loved the patients and families, but felt like she wanted to do more for her community. Her husband, Bradd Porter who is a dreamer, asked her why didn't she start her own hospice. That dream planted a seed in her and in time they began the process of starting their own hospice. Their son, James Porter, became involved and supported the business side of things so Jane could continue her passion with the clinical side as an RN/DON. Their daughter Gloria Stolhand started off as a Volunteer, but in time knew Hospice was her passion too. Gloria and her husband Cameron Stolhand joined in to support the hospice and that was only the Beginning of their Family Owned Hospice. Several other family members joined together with their diverse career backgrounds to grow this Hospice into what it has become today. Grace and Glory Hospice is now serving 5 Bay Area counties. Alameda, Contra Costa, Sacramento, San Mateo & San Joaquin.
