Do You Hold Back On Personal Social Media Posts To Protect Your Business?
Answered by:
I would say I do and always have even before social media. But I dont want to. Everyone is so sensitive about everything. If you are the best at what you do , why should your personal opinion on something that has nothing to do with what you do deter someone from working with you? Like being married, two people do not agree on everything, so why should we in business situations. We all have opinions, and are allowed to. If we did not have our own opinions then we turn into robots. You never know what you can learn by listening to someone else's opinion. Maybe you will get enlightened!

Completely agree! I do remember a time when people could have differing views and still get along. In my own family, my brothers are vastly different from me in terms of politics/religion/etc but we find a way to get along. Because we know we are all good people. I think the media is at least partly to blame for ratcheting up the rhetoric and making politics more like a fight than a discussion. On both sides. And I also think it is crucial to have differing opinions and viewpoints - if for no other reason than to make sure we're not losing site of all sides of the coin. Too bad we aren't in politics David. Lol
I agree David, but unfortunately, I have seen bias on Facebook time and time again, even with matters that are not business related at all. You an I are of the very open-minded set, and although most people would deny they let other people's beliefs, opinions, likes and dislikes taint their feelings about that person, the majority of them are not being honest.
