There is hardly anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people who consider price only are this man's lawful prey.  LET THEM KNOW UPFRONT, APPROXIMATELY HOW MUCH IT WILL COST THEM.  Having had a couple of tows recently, my BIG complaint is towing it to a storage lot, (1 charge), them another base rate charge and tow charge for towing it out of the storage lot to its final location (2nd charge).  Tell them if you intend to do this.  I almost came to blows with a Firestone Cop over this double tow, especially when I asked him how much his "kickback" was!
