About Us

BIP is a locally owned and operated printing business that has been in existence since 1974. BIP also offers many other services including full color copies, laminating, fax service bindery services, plus many more....

How We Got Started

In November of 1973 my late husband was working as manager of a printing business. The owner decided to either close the business or offered to sell it to my husband. My husband and a friend decided to purchase the business, and we became Brunswick Instant Printing Inc. At a later date the partnership was dissolved, and my husband and I became sole shareholders. My husband passed away in 1998. I had no knowledge of the business aspect as I worked only in production and with clients but decided to give it a go on my own. And here I am, 74 years old and still enjoying every minute of what I do!

I wish my landlord would have reduced my rent but he hasn't.  I'm sure that he still has to pay his mortgage on the building, so I can't fault him for that. I'm still waiting to hear if I will get the EIDL loan from the SBA that I applied for almost 3 weeks ago.  I couldn't apply for the PPP as I had to lay off my employees over a month ago due to lack of business.  I can't afford a loan I will have to repay.  My landlord was kind enough to let me... We have curtailed our hours of operation with the public to minimize  exposure to our customers and to our staff.  We are making available delivery service and individual appointments with customers if need be. Grand City is the business I miss the most.  It was locally owned, downtown, easily accessible, and stocked everyday items you needed.  It also had a great restaurant with good food and reasonable prices.  They closed because a big box store moved in to town and the competition was just too much... I always start my Christmas card special the beginning of November.  I, and I think many others, feel that over a month and a half is sufficient time to get those cards printed and in the mail. Since the advent of the cell phone, most people don't keep business cards in their wallets any longer.  My only concern is if you are at a function and wish to pass them out, you will need some sort of business card holder to fit in your wallet, purse, pocket, etc.  I have not found any as of yet made specifically for an odd size business card.
