About Us

We are organized to promote spinning, weaving and other textile crafts and fiber artists in the Brazos Valley. We have on display in our gallery/boutique pieces of textile and fiber arts by local artisans. We sell these extraordinary pieces and our artists also teach classes and lead workshops in a wide range of fiber and textile techniques. The public is welcome to visit INTERSECTIONS Textile Learning Center & Gallery at 2116 S. College Ave in Bryan, TX. Visit us at weavebrazos.org, email weavebrazos@gmail.com, or hcdewolf@hotmail.com, call 979-822-5684 or 979-324-6221. Come to the shop, touch the most colorful, luscious and beautiful handcrafted textiles and fiber arts in the Brazos Valley! Let us teach you to make your own.

How We Got Started

Several members of the Brazos Spinners & Weavers Guild came together with the desire to take our talents to the next level. Each of us are weavers, many are spinners and all of us are textile/fiber artists. We produce unique and beautiful textiles, shawls, scarves, fiber jewelry, and art pieces. We started a shop managed and operated by each of the artists on a rotating voluntary basis. We also made sure that at least one of us is always working on our Craft so that our customers can interact with a working fiber artist.

We are an all volunteer non-profit business. Our mission is to promote Textile and Fiber Arts and artists. We display and sell the work produced by local artists and we teach these arts and skills to the public. Our artists are highly skilled artisans who depend on our community to not only enjoy but also purchase their amazing textiles and art pieces. Even more, we need our customers to let their networks know about our shop and artists.
