MARR-Certified Men’s Structured Sober Living
Chris’ Haven of Hope is a family-built and operated MARR-certified Level II recovery residence for men located in Bryant Pond, Maine. Founded by a mother and son in memory of their beloved son and brother, Chris, our home was created from pain, love, loss, and the belief that every person deserves another chance at life. What started as a dream to honor Chris’ memory has become a safe, structured environment where men in recovery can rebuild their lives with dignity, accountability, and hope.
Owner and operator Marc Montplaisir brings lived experience to the mission, having personally battled homelessness and drug addiction before overcoming those struggles and rebuilding his own life. With nearly three years of sobriety, Marc understands firsthand the fear, hopelessness, and challenges many men face when trying to start over. That lived experience is what drives the heart behind Chris’ Haven of Hope and allows residents to feel understood, supported, and never judged.
We provide sober living for men transitioning from detox, treatment, incarceration, or unstable living situations while helping connect them to recovery meetings, employment opportunities, community resources, and ongoing support. At Chris’ Haven of Hope, we strive to create more than just a house — we are building a family-oriented recovery community where men are encouraged, supported, and reminded that they are never alone in their journey.
