Everything depends on how large your company is and are there people to back you up while you are on vacation. As a single Entrepreneur, I try to get recharged by the day and not the week.

Get out of the house even rent a hotel room for the day with your spouse or significant other. It is amazing how getting away even for a day is awesome.

Do tours or classes that occupy your time and take your mind off work, my wife and I love wine tours? Maybe take a day at a SPA, etc.

My friend is a painter and takes one full day per week to paint which is completely relaxing for them.

Taking a complete day off is not really that hard, and you can get more of those than trying to take a week or more off at a time.

If you have young children they can be the best thing for you on a day off because they will keep you busy and not allow you to plug back into work.

Being an entrepreneur often means there is no specific weekend time off like a person working in a corporation but make sure you get some designated days each week to be off.
