About Us
I am an independent jewellery appraisal firm offering a personalized service where clients do not have to leave their items behind. Appraisals are completed by appointment, consultation style in my Burlington Ontario office or through mobile service to local jewellers looking to offer an appraisal events and to clients who prefer that their jewellery items not leave their place of safekeeping. I encourage my clients to be part of the appraisal experience. I have invested in tools that allow my clients to easily view their items under magnification and experience what I am seeing as the appraiser.
How We Got Started
While working in retail as a jewellery appraiser for local jewellers I recognized a need for an appointment based appraisal service where clients did not have to leave their jewellery items behind. I appreciate the sentimental and financial attachment that goes along with owning a piece of fine jewellery and so I decided to open my own appraisal firm. I wanted to transform the appraisal experience from just a piece of technical paper to a consultation style appointment where my clients can become involved and ask questions. I enjoy educating clients about diamonds and jewellery through educational consultations for anyone looking to make an important jewellery purchase in the near future.

I usually research service providers ahead of time and choose my preference based on website and reviews. If I don’t hear back within 24 hours I might try another company.

I intentionally will not use a business if they knock on my door. Go out and network, join community events, use social media to meet customers. There is no reason for anyone to be knocking on doors. I am completely fine with flyers in the mailbox or door hangers but please never knock on my door.

Bring your passion and energy for what you do to each customer interaction. Combine that with customizing each experience to meet your customers individual needs and I believe that is the secret formula! Always give extra from what they would get anywhere else.

I post 3 times a day on instagram / facebook. Once per day on LinkedIn. I have gained new clients from these platforms. I find it very worthwhile.
