I indicated 100% of my time meaning business hours but I have to add that I have a very active hobby. I am a painter. After joining an art group in Halton a few years ago, I started to participate in shows, exhibiting and selling my paintings. Now, 10 yrs later, I am part of 3 art groups that have shows and I produce approx. 10 paintings a year. This barely pays for arts supplies, courses and exhibit fees but I love it. So, I don't know whether that qualifies as a side job? The Benefits Edge is a frequent sponsor of my shows though :)
You can attend Chamber Business after 5's in you area and network. Bring many business cards and have an elevator pitch ready. You also attend BNI meetings and network. The Milton Chamber has a Business After Hours on Tues, the 24th.
