About Us
Cromie Creative Consultants is a marketing agency that specializes in the local services industry. We love working with female-owned, BIPOC, and LGBT+ owned businesses to help them get found and generate leads. While websites and SEO are at the heart of our offering, we start every project by assessing the overall marketing strategy so that we can take a holistic view to solving your business problems. By doing this, we're able to create long-lasting relationships and data driven results.
How We Got Started
I first started building websites when I was fourteen, back when Geocities and Angelfire were a thing and starry backgrounds were not frowned upon. In 2014 I found by calling after getting a job at a small web agency and things only grew from there. In 2019 I was given the opportunity to start my own agency, and have fully embraced the life of an entrepreneur.

A combination of content (for the long term organic results), email list building, a great website, and then I would recommend creating some sort of sample kit you can send out. I love getting print samples in the mail, and it always leaves a mark with me. Have something you can send or hand out...

I would argue that this is very dependent on your business. But one thing you should be focused on from the beginning is building your email list. Although it's a long term strategy, once it's built, it becomes much easier to sell to that group, because they are your best prospects and customers.

I thrive off of face to face networking, but also understand that the busy business owners I want to get in front of don't always have time to go out to every networking event. I'm actually considering starting some virtual networking groups focused on small business owners.

I am a fiber artist and enjoy spinning yarn and dyeing fiber. It's almost like a meditative thing. Allowing myself time to do these things always provides a good reset. I also recently discovered indoor skydiving and am looking at taking lessons. It's a rush, and an amazing feeling.

It looks "okay". As a web developer myself, it seems to me like it was built without any thought regarding the user experience. The switching side to side to read information is hard on the eyes. I have to scroll far too much to get through all of your services, and because of this, you are...

It looks "okay". As a web developer myself, it seems to me like it was built without any thought regarding the user experience. The switching side to side to read information is hard on the eyes. I have to scroll far too much to get through all of your services, and because of this, you are likely to lose people. Your menu also feels like a second thought. It's not really connected to anything else, which leads a user to completely disregard it.
It's always best to start with your inner circle, and then branch out from there by promoting your events to friends of followers.
However, have you thought of painting in public? If you could paint in a busy public space that isn't used to seeing someone do exactly that, you could easily find...

Have a card or flyer to hand out as people stop to see what you are doing. Perhaps a sign that invites them in to see what you're doing and then reiterating that they can do it too!
