When i was laid off in 2014, i rediscovered the passion that i have for electronics and tinkering. I spent some time building RC airplanes and quad copters and discovered the cost could be overwhelming. I had heard of 3D printing before and had some some 3D and architectural design and thought i could make my own replacement parts.

I spent some time learning about the technology and started designing my own 3D printer based off what i had learned. At that time it was mostly a challenge to see if i could do it.

Since then i have added a 3 printers to my "farm" and have since decommissioned my first printer to use for parts on my new designs.
