About Us

IronOak IT - Your Partner in Productivity!

There are 3 main ways we partner with our clients to help them.

1) We proactively manage business computers using IT software - so each customer can focus on what they do best.
2) We provide IT solutions that resolve current challenges each business is responding to.
3) We protect our clients by watching for vulnerabilities in their computers, software, and infrastructure. With increasing security issues, all businesses need a partner they can rely on to watch their back.

We value our staff, and know that if they are enjoying the work environment, they are a great resource for our customers that need frequent IT support. To provide great service a cut above the rest, we connect a tech team with each client - creating much more than just a break/fix environment, but one of relationship, where the techs on the team watch out for the needs of each business.

How We Got Started

We knew that break/fix was not cost effective for businesses. Small Businesses needed to be managed proactively to prevent expensive emergencies. IronOak invested in resources to help small businesses develop and grow with the use of technology.

The type of attacks changes with time and so receiving regular feedback about security makes your IT company a critical part of the team for any business, much like having a lawyer, an accountant, etc. as trusted advisors contributes to a well managed company. Most business owners are surprised to find out that Managed Services costs less than break/fix and provides better service - all with peace of mind, knowing your network is secure. To mitigate risk, we recommend a good backup and a router that can be managed by your IT company remotely. Can you reach your IT company and get a response within 15 minutes? We usually drop off gift baskets for all our clients who have a Service Level Agreement. It is one way that we can add that personal touch by connecting with each customer in person, as their "Partner in Productivity." One thing I've done that works is this: - After visiting a good customer - In person, drop by other local business (around the block) - Mention "I was just over at <client name>, working with <clients name>". They've been our customer since.....and are very happy with our service. - Then just discuss how their business uses your specific service, i.e. how often, in what situations, most recently. I've had good success with, and have been doing it since 1993. Remember, expect lot's of rejection, and you'll be pleasantly surprised with what's left.
