How We Got Started
Had a shop in Camas a little over 20 years ago, then life happened, life has eased up and now it's time to go back to what I love doing.

I am a florist so I deal with retail which keeps people coming back. When it comes to the services part I have a floral exchange program which people like. As for a bookkeeping (which I had a business of) I just kept putting the word out on facebook and by word of mouth. Did great, I gave it up...

As for a bookkeeping (which I had a business of) I just kept putting the word out on facebook and by word of mouth. Did great, I gave it up because I got tired of peoples inconsistencies of cooperation. My suggestion keep getting it out there mention the other services you offer along with how it can help them.
I don't offer a referral program, but I do offer: punch cards and when redeemed they get to gong our "Gong", gift certificates, great customer service, a product with satisfaction, and great prices; along with other services.

For me it is really hard to trust people now a days, so I started with the ones I trust and know. Of course there are ground rules so as not to hurt the family/friend relationship. As for rehire, why did they get let go in the first place?

Even if they want to do it themselves they need to get supplies to do it, so go with bulk orders. It works great for us.

Depending on the type of displays your trying to keep fresh, find a local dealer where you can get what you need when you need it so you don't have a lot of waste. With me being a florist I may have to go to the wholesalers every day and it is a small price to pay in time but makes it well worth...
