About Us

Glorybound Publishing was started in 2005 by Sheri Hauser after she wrote a series of books and then went on to school to learn all the aspects of running her own business. By 2025, the company had published over 900 books. Presently, we release around four titles per month, specializing in challenging, picture-intensive books because we use Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Professional Acrobat software in the office.  The books are compiled in our office with the writer's input or 1:1 remotely via ZOOM.  Preliminary to compiling the manuscript of each book, we evaluate the best option for the title concerning marketing and sales.  We have several topic-related book marketing websites. We have discovered that words are worth money! We are a service-based company that works alongside authors and publishers to compile and publish their books. They look over our shoulders, helping to select fonts, styles, and all the details that go into an awesome book.

How We Got Started

In 2001, Sheri Hauser penned a book, paid someone $5000 to edit the book, and ordered 5000 hardbound copies. Several pallets were delivered by a big truck and put in the garage—and then the challenge came to figure out how to distribute them! This was a rough introduction to the writing world, which cost her $32k. Wanting to write another book, she realized this was too expensive of a way to continue along the same track, so she opted to learn what was needed to become her own publisher. We went to UNLV in Las Vegas to study software and then went online for further training. As soon as her friends saw that she could publish her own books, they began to hand her theirs to publish! So, she continued to study and learn. By 2025, she was credentialed as a webmaster, sound engineer, social media marketer, and publisher, combining books with online options to make her business cutting-edge.

I would say Alignable is offering about $2000 of revenue per month to my business.

I WoW a customer by providing a personalized experience in publishing their book. Most publishers are online. Personal wins.  (more) I WoW a customer by providing a personalized experience in publishing their book. Most publishers are online. Personal wins.

Many times my company is presented 'in a scroll' so I need customers to recognize 'it's us' quickly and associating us with publishing high-quality books. Branding is key. There are so many books out there that you really need to make your subject stand out among the crowd. A book is an extension of the author. If you try to sell the book, you will most likely have poor results. However, if you can put on your MOJO to sell the author, now you got something. Let me give an example: I write dream books. When I interpret a dream and the books are nearby, they always want one. In essence I have marketed my subject (and myself), not the book. In my experience (publishing 700 books) the best sales of books come when the author personifies the subject and gives an accurate presentation of such.

We work with authors from the start of their project until they are selling their book. We stick with them offering options to help maximize the potential for their book. Because this is a 'advice' column, I will give some advice. Never trust someone who is not selling books (already). Selling books today is not the same as selling books 20 years ago. I would say: 1. Find someone with trusted sales in the field. 2. Find someone who knows how to manage the digital marketplace. 3. Find someone who is willing to read your book--who is willing to share your passion.

As I assume this pertains to authors with books, I would say, "Hands down--an Add with Amazon." AMS.amazon.com is the place to do the add. You can put in up to 1000 search words for a minimum cost of $1/day. You enter similar titles, popular authors and subjects which individuals would type in to find books like yours. When they type in those words and then click on your book, AMS charges you whatever click rate you have entered. PAY-PER-CLICK. I moved several books to page 1 and made over $10K in royalties last year.
