My name is Julia, and I am a portrait photographer based in San Jose and covering the San Francisco Bay Area. I love photographing people and capturing their essence. It has been a rewarding experience for me working with babies, children and families.

My style is modern, using fresh perspectives with an emphasis on light, texture, and simplicity. I’m drawn to an organic, natural style of photography, where props, clothing, or poses, should not detract from the beauty of those I photograph and the magical moments that I capture. I love to work with both the realism of color photos and the drama and classic nature of black and white, and I’m known for the clean, honest look of my images.
